The site once tipped as Amazon’s new North West depot is expected to win planning permission.
The 1.1m sq ft development at Halebank Road, Widness, was understood to be earmarked for online retailer Amazon - until the last planning decision was struck down by the High Court in 2012.
Developer Prologis, who originally won planning permission in 2011, has now re-applied. Halton planners are expected to approve the development next week.
There will be a new access road from the A5300 and A562.
In 2012 the plan was challenged by Halebank parish council, who succeeded in having the planning permission quashed.
Prologis declined to comment.
