The 40-acre Leicester Commercial Park has been sold by Wilson Bowden. The site is next to the M1/M69 intersection in one of the UK’s most popular and sought after locations for logistics.
The development will be undertaken in partnership with Wilson Bowden. Goodman intend to submit an early planning application with a view to commencing development at the earliest opportunity. Both build-to-suit and speculative development is likely.
Nick Richardson, managing director of Wilson Bowden commented: “Sites like this are few and far between throughout the UK, let alone within the much sought after logistics golden triangle. We are therefore confident that this site will attract significant interest from local and national occupiers who want to secure high specification warehouse accommodation in a prime location.”
Avison Young advised Goodman on the acquisition and Mather Jamie Chartered Surveyors advised the land owner.
