Shed developer IDI Gazeley has bought an 11.8-acre site in Bedford ahead of a 240,000 sq ft warehouse development.
The Southill Estate, advised by Savills, sold a plot at Site 10 in Bedford to IDI Gazeley UK Limited.
Gazeley had already secured planning permission to develop a 240,000 sq ft warehouse on the site.
Phillip Ridoutt, director of business space at Savills Cambridge, said: “The site offers prime industrial land with excellent access to the M1, A1 and the surrounding areas making it the ideal location for IDI Gazeley. We are very pleased to have secured this sale, generating a strong price on behalf of our client.”
