A 600,000sq ft extension to an M65 Lancashire logistics scheme is being proposed by developer Eshton.
The proposal is for a 32-acre site south of the M65 close to junction 9, adjacent to the A679 Accrington Road. Branded as Burnley Bridge South, the scheme will provide a similar mix of warehousing and industrial units to the existing 100-acre site.
Leeds-based Eshton say the £45m extension is likely to see six units totalling 600,000sq ft although a bespoke building with a footprint in excess of 500,000sq ft could be accommodated on the site.
Eshton managing director James Chapman said: “Burnley Bridge South is part of Eshton’s vision to expand Burnley’s business park presence on the M65 and demonstrates the firm’s ongoing commitment to investing in Burnley.”
