This year’s The Logistics Awards is one of the grandest events in the industry calendar, and entries for the event, to be held at the Vox, Resort’s World Birmingham on Thursday 26th September, are now open.
Winners of last year’s event include Ocado, John Lewis and Sainsbury’s, with SME operations also triumphing such as Wed2B and Vantec Europe, as part of an event that highlights logistics operational excellence. Entered projects are evaluated by a judging panel that includes new judge ABI Research’s Nick Finill, who are assigned a category across the 13 that are available.
Well contested categories for The Logistics Awards include Operations (SME/Large), Technology Transformation (SME/Large), Safety and the all new Wellbeing Initiative award. The awards is one of the industry’s most high profile events, with last year’s event its fifth anniversary, as end user operations aim to put their industrial activities in glowing light. Product suppliers can also enter a customer project since May 2018, with the name of the entry appropriated to the end user.
You can enter in as many awards categories as you wish, as long as each entry is tailored to the award categories entered for. An entry is a 50-word summary about a successful logistics project taking place since May 2018, accompanied by an up to 1,000-word submission.
The deadline for entries is Friday 10th May, with the winners announced at the annual black tie gala event in late September held in conjunction with the logistics industry’s biggest trade show event, the International Materials Handling Exhibition – IMHX 2019, September 24-27, NEC Birmingham.
