Dag-Adler Blakseth, CEO of Element Logic, Norway, is one of the nominees for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year, the world's largest growth program, in Oslo on October 18th.
EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is a unique global program that recognises entrepreneurial achievement among individuals and companies that demonstrate vision, leadership and success — and work to improve the quality of life in their communities, countries and around the world. This award is conducted in a total of 60 countries. In October and November six regional competitions will be conducted for Norway, and from the whole country, 12 candidates will be taken to the national finals in Oslo on December 3rd.
As a rule, a company must achieve "3x20" to qualify; a minimum of 20 million NOK in turnover, 20 employees and 20 per cent growth in the last two years. A company can also qualify without being fully achieved across these three criteria, but then other criteria will come in as capability and potential for internationalization, innovation capability, strategic business development, etc. EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is a personal award and it is the growth creator and not the company honoured, so the program focuses on people who have left the entrepreneurship phase and have taken the step further into the growth phase.
Following EY's survey, this year's total of 1,838 current candidates in the Eastern region of Norway consisting of Oslo, Akershus, Buskerud, Østfold, Hedmark and Oppland, the growth capabilities of ten companies are nominated for the regional awards in the Eastern region, which will take place in Oslo 18th October.

The independent jury, who decides who goes further from the region, consists of Åse Aulie Michelet, Hege Skryseth, Harald Tyrdal, Trond Solberg, Harald Norvik and Hilde Midthjell.
"We want to emphasize and inspire people who have a business idea investing capital and careers in creating lasting values and jobs that the entire community benefits from.
