EFL Distribution has new partner in trade between Ireland and the Benelux

Dublin-based EFL International Distribution has signed an agency partnership with the Swiss Gondrand International Ltd, which will see the two companies offering freight forwarding and logistics services in the trade between Ireland and the Benelux countries.

Joint import and export services between EFL International Distribution and Gondrand International have commenced, with a twice-weekly ocean freight service into Dublin from Rotterdam on Tuesdays and Fridays; and a once a week service every Friday from Dublin to Rotterdam.

In the Benelux, Gondrand’s operational European overland hub is at Tilburg, the Netherlands. In Ireland, collection and distribution is handled by EFL International Distribution via its own bonded warehouse in Dublin.

Chris Radley, Director at EFL International Distribution, says: “We have a strong position in this trade and are looking forward to developing that position through the partnership agreement with Gondrand International, a well-established and highly respected company with great expertise.”

EFL International Distribution provides an array of freight and logistics operations including European import and export freight transport by road and short sea container services, coupled with its own bonded warehouse in Dublin.

Internationally, EFL’s ocean freight department processes FCL and LCL services whilst its airfreight department offers expedited import and export airfreight services around the world. It is a long-standing member of the U-Freight network.
