Eddie Stobart Logistics is behind plans for 630,000 sq ft M56 warehouse scheme at Warrington.

The development, close to junction 9 of the M56, is expected to be approved by Warrington planners.

Stobart are in partnership with Liberty Properties for the redevelopment, which is adjacent to existing Stobart facilities.

However, a spate of new logistics developments on Warrington green belt is raising concerns among locals, including local councillors.

As well as the Stobart site concern focuses on the Southern Gateway site promoted by Wire Regeneration, the joint venture between Langtree and Warrington Council.

A logistics and manufacturing development is envisaged on Bradley Hall Farm, which today is a working dairy farm.
