Ecco Safety Group, the vehicle lighting business, has signed up for a new 105,000 sq ft unit on a former Yorkshire colliery site.
The first phase of the nine-acre mixed-use scheme at the junction of Coal and Victoria Roads, Seacroft has been let by developer, Commercial Development Projects (CDP), with Carter Towler advising.
Carter Towler director Chris Priestley said: “Ecco is gearing up its manufacturing and distribution capacity significantly, and we have assisted with space planning, specifying and co-ordinating all parties involved to ensure the move from their existing premises to the new facility goes as smoothly as possible.”
Two further properties being built on the site are due to be completed in the summer. One will be a new headquarters for leading beauty company Sweet Squared and the other a KFC franchise. Sweet Squared’s 20,000 sq ft property will incorporate offices, warehousing, distribution and training facilities.
