This includes protecting the environment, looking after our people and ensuring their safety whilst being the very best corporate partner to the community and by making sure young people feel inspired to work at one of the UK’s most important and significant logistics facilities.
Our Global Education Programme seeks to do just that. Staff from across our diverse workforce have spent a lot of time in local schools in the past two years, teaching young people about trade, logistics, its importance and the careers that exist in the industry. It is extremely pleasing to see this hard work and passion for raising aspirations among youngsters in South Essex has been recognised by the logistics industry.”
