DHL has signed up for a 160,000 sq ft Bristol warehouse.
The carrier has agreed to take a unit on 15 acres at Delta's 350-acre Central Park site, Bristol.
Central Park, which will be served by a new junction on the M49 motorway, has mopped up most of the south-west's major distribution requirements over the last 12 months. New arrivals include The Range, Lidl, Davies Turner, DHL, Farmfoods & CHEP UK.
A further 400,000 sq ft is being speculatively developed by Stoford, on behalf of Mountpark Logistics.
Michael Shebson of Delta Properties said: “Highways England has recently announced the location of the new M49 junction, which will come straight into Central Park and this, together with our existing planning permission, rail connections and full infrastructure, means Central Park remains virtually unrivalled in the south-west in terms of the quality of our product and ability to immediately develop for a wide range of uses. There is strong interest in the remaining opportunities at Central Park.”
