TJX Europe has reappointed DHL Supply Chain to manage its logistics operations across Europe for a further five years, building on its established relationship with the business.
In a partnership which began in 1994 in the UK and was extended across Europe in 2007, DHL will continue to manage TJX Europe’s end-to-end supply chain, including inbound vendor collections and outbound store distribution.
TJX Europe will benefit from DHL’s advanced fleet management system, as well as its European Transport Control Tower - a multi-lingual, multi-skilled facility which will act as a control hub for TJX Europe’s logistics operations.
Paul Dyer, CEO DHL Supply Chain, UK and Ireland said: “We are delighted to be extending our partnership with TJX Europe for another five years and look forward to supporting their growth plans across Europe.”
In addition to the new contract, DHL will continue to play a crucial role in TJX Europe’s
e-commerce offering. DHL has successfully deployed its global Operations Management System at its UK e-commerce facility, focused on supporting sites to fulfill their maximum performance potential.
TJX Europe is part of The TJX Companies, Inc. (NYSE:TJX), the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the US and worldwide. At the end of 2016 the company had over $33billion in revenues, more than 3800 stores in nine countries, three ecommerce sites and approximately 235,000 associates.
