A 22-acre Crewe logistics site is on the market as interest in M6 motorway locations grows.
CBRE’s Manchester Industrial and Logistics team has been instructed by BAE Systems to sell a 22-acre industrial development site at Radway Green in Crewe. CBRE is inviting bids from interested parties by 15th July 2016.
Radway Green totals 185,512 sq ft of warehouse space on a 22.27-acre site close to Junction 16 of the M6 Motorway.
Crewe’s prospects are growing as pressure on land at the major logistics sites like Omega and Logistics North means fewer development plots. The town could be enhanced by the arrival of the HS2 high speed rail link – although the northern leg of the project is said by some observers to be looking more doubtful, and its promoters have recently reported cost over-runs.
Senior Director of Industrial Agency at CBRE Manchester, Paul Cook, said: “This is a unique opportunity to acquire a well-located and extensive oven-ready development site in close proximity to the M6 motorway. Opportunities such as this close to the M6 corridor are in high demand and as such, we anticipate high levels of interest in this freehold opportunity.”
