Construction work on a 210,000 sq ft speculative Bristol warehouse scheme has been completed – and work on another 115,000 sq ft speculative development is to begin.
St Francis and iSec says the 210,000 sq ft first phase at Horizon 38 Bristol is now completed.
The five-unit phase will be followed by the construction of an additional 115,000 sq ft speculative logistics and industrial unit and a range of smaller units from 4,000 sq ft to 8,000 sq ft.
This is the latest phase in the 580,000 sq ft scheme at Filton, just 3 miles from Bristol city centre and less than 2 miles from the M5 motorway.
In the first phase of development, five speculatively developed logistics, manufacturing and industrial units totalling 210,7000 sq ft in a variety of different sizes ranging from 21,000 sq ft up to 63,000 sq ft are now complete and immediately available for occupation.
Later phases are expected to be complete in 2018.
Gareth Williams, Development Director at St Francis Group, said: “The completion of over 200,000 sq ft of brand new, high quality logistics, manufacturing and industrial space means we have plugged a gap in the market. We are fielding a significant number of enquiries and expressions of interest in the space and expect to make exciting announcements shortly.”
