Leading end to end fulfilment and freight provider, Core Management Logistics (CML), held its second annual Family Fun Day on Saturday 6th July 2019 for its employees and their families.
Following on from the success of its first Family Fun Day last year, the end to end fulfilment provider, decided to hold another Family Fun Day at Leicester Forest East RFC, to show its appreciation to its hard working employees and their families for their dedication and loyalty over what has been an extremely busy and indeed exceptional 12 months for the company.
CML provided a BBQ, a number of refreshments and a huge range of fun activities including a Nerf Gun battle zone, a children’s entertainer, face painting, fete stalls, archery, inflatables, and lots of children’s games as well as an under-five games area. As a first for this year there was also a tombola stall with a wide range of prizes all kindly donated by CML’s employees and a fantastic £404 raised from tombola ticket sales that went to Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. In addition to this, £216 was raised from tickets sales that went to Leicester Forest RFC’s nominated charity, LOROS.
Head of HR, Yvonne Fenwick, said, "It was great to see so many people come together to enjoy a day with their families. The activity-packed day was another huge success and it was fantastic to see everyone having such a good time and raising £620 for charity too. CML firmly believes in looking after its employees and showing its appreciation and also being able to raise money for both Rainbows and Loros is testament to CML being such a great place to work."
The leading end to end fulfilment provider takes great pride in putting on events for its employees and also holds a number of fundraisers throughout the year to support a number of different charities, creating a real sense of community in the company.
