Developer and asset manager, Chancerygate has submitted a planning application for ‘Novus’, a 300,000 sq ft industrial and warehouse scheme in Knutsford. The 16 acre site is at the eastern end of the established Parkgate Industrial Estate.
Phase 1 of the proposed scheme will total 78,000 sq ft, comprising seven units ranging from 4000 -24,000 sq ft. Chancerygate aims to be on site with the first phase by Summer 2018.
The remainder of the site will be developed in further speculative phases or on a design and build basis with units of potentially up to 100,000 sq ft dependant on occupier requirements.
Richard Bains, Managing Director for Chancerygate, said: “It is a great example of what we are trying to achieve by developing out larger sites that can accommodate companies in the burgeoning SME and mid box markets. We are focusing on securing more sites of this scale in 2018.”
Architects for the development are UMC. Planning Consultants are Hourigan Connolly. Gerald Eve and Williams Sillitoe have been retained as joint agents.
