Black Friday tackled in first podcast from SHD Logistics

Black Friday is back. It returns on 30 November 2018 and planning should have already started. In the first episode of The Logistics Podcast, we speak to experts/survivors of Black Friday including; John Munnelly (head of operations – Magna Park at John Lewis), Duncan Licence (VP Global Solutions and New Products at Metapack Group), Lynne Parnell (Logistics Partners) and UKWA CEO Peter Ward. We also talk to Kevin Mofid from Savills about 2.1 million sq feet of underground warehouse space at Heathrow.

The Logistics Podcast, brought to you by SHD Logistics, has launched to tackle key topics including death of the high street, Brexodus, Black Friday and healthcare-on-demand. The monthly podcast, presented by SHD editor Kirsty Adams, is published on the first Wednesday of the month to coincide with SHD Logistics magazine. 

Expect interviews with experts from leading retailers, pioneering 3PLs, the associations that represent them and supply chain academics. Each episode tells a story of relevent issues within the  profession which is becoming more visible and more critical every day.
