The Automated Material Handling Systems Association (AMHSA) will host a programme of informative seminars at IMHX entitled ‘Meet The Experts’ in the AMHSA Pavilion, located in Hall 10.
These short presentations, given by both guest speakers and AMHSA members, will provide visitors with insightful overviews of key topics in automated logistics.
Bill Somerton, director of Bisham Consulting, will speak on the subject of ‘Getting answers to the real questions’, giving companies considering automation – and suppliers of these solutions – a steer on the critical insight they should share with potential providers.
Kelvin Sanders, senior specialist in HR at Toyota UK, will present on the topic of ‘Apprenticeships and Funding’, while Tony Ventrella, a barrister and Legal Director at Ventrella Associates, will share his expertise in a presentation entitled ‘Commercial contracts in the materials handling industry’.
In addition, representatives from AMHSA member companies will give presentations on topics related to the latest technological advances, industry trends and future challenges. Kenny Watson of JBT and Mike Burke of EK Automation will both share their knowledge on the topic of AGVs, while Andy Parsons of Autologic Systems will give a presentation entitled ‘Delivering value through 3D modelling’.
In his seminar, David Hayward-Browne of LPC International will talk on ‘The importance of user requirement specifications for a successful project’. After each seminar session, audience members will be able to chat to the speaker and other AMHSA members in an exclusive hospitality area within the AMHSA Pavilion.
