Developers have launched a 52,000 sq ft speculative warehouse/distribution unit at Leighton Buzzard.
Developer Brickhill Properties has won planning consent for the warehoudse which is six miles from junction 11a of the M1.
Diccon Brearley, commercial agency surveyor at letting agent Kirkby Diamond, said the new unit was already attracting substantial interest in a market experiencing a shortage of high specification accommodation.
James Pargeter, director at Brickhill Properties, said:“It’s a superb warehouse and I fully expect it to be let quickly to an occupier looking either to expand their operation or to relocate to what is a first class location with easy access to the M1 and beyond.”
There are plans for the site to be connected to the Translink Busway into Leighton Buzzard from Dunstable and Luton.
The unit fronts on to the A505 Leighton Buzzard Bypass, providing easy access to Aylesbury via the A418, Milton Keynes via the A5, and the M1 Corridor via J11a.
Specification includes 9.6 metre eaves, two dock and two level access doors, 50KN/m2 floor loading and air-conditioned offices.
