The 150,000 sq ft Oldham factory which was once the UK's passport-printing centre, has been let to local distributors.
3M Security Printing and Systems – who ran the former HM Stationery Office printworks until June this year – has offloaded the 7.3 acre site at Chadderton, close to Junction 21 of the M60 motorway. The new owners Rochdale-based Property North West have let the building to occupiers including local drinks distributor Middleton Associates, and to Bradley Springds as a new distribution facility. Around 20,000 sq ft remains vacant.
Cushman & Wakefield advised 3M on the sale. Together with Davies Harrison, which represented Property North West Limited, C&W has been retained as the joint agent to market the remaining available space.
