It's just one month until entry to the SHD Logistics Awards closes. Here's three things you should think about when writing your winning entry.
1. Number, numbers and more numbers.
At the SHD Logistics Awards judging day in 2014, our judges made it very clear, that they need numbers to help them measure exactly how a company has improved. Ensure your entry includes figures on efficiency, accuracy and productivity - which you can be measured on.
2. Isn't that just their job?
Last year, some beautifully crafted entries were simply descirptions of logistics operators, doing logistics operations. "Isn't that just their job..." said our judges. Entries need to show outstanding achievements by logistics operators. Not just day to day activity.
3. Make the 50 words count.
Your 50 word synopsis is the most important part of your entry. It's the first thing our judges will see. Carefully edit it, ask colleagues to check it, then check it again.
