3 best Awards moments #SHDAwards

3 best Awards moments #SHDAwards

In 2015 we celebrated the SHD Logistics Awards at London’s Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square. Here’s three of our favourite moments. Join us in 2016 for many more.

1)   We need a bigger stage: In 2015 ‘Overall Winner’ Kellogg’s with Voiteq stormed the stage following the announcement of their second award of the night. The stage stood strong despite what can best be described as an onslaught of energised logistics professionals. Look out for a bigger stage in September 2016…

2)   Selling your sister: When editor Peter MacLeod auctioned off his famous-food-critic-sister-plus-meal with all proceeds going to industry charity Transaid – he raised £1,200! In 2016 expect more siblings being auctioned off. Actually don’t.

3)   Queue laugh: Romesh Ranganathan’s opening gag/reflection on the logistics industry: “Sometime I do stuff for nurses and doctors and teachers and I think these people are worthless aren’t they. It’s good to be doing stuff for people that really…move stuff around…”

Enter the SHD Logistics Awards in 2016 and you could be the logistics operation to storm the stage at Resorts World Birmingham on 15 September 2016.
