A 15-acre site next to Jaguar Land rover’s new Wolverhampton plant is to be developed, following an agreement with local councils.
A&J Mucklow Group plc has entered into an agreement with Wolverhampton City Council and Staffordshire
County Council to promote and develop 265,000 sq ft at the i54 site, South Staffordshire.
Design-and-build agreements with tenants are said to be more likely that speculative development.
Units will range from 40,000 to 150,000 sq ft.
Despite the acute shortage of new modern logistics floorspace in the region, it is thought the emphasis will be on advanced manufacturing – the long-term aim of the i54 site, which has enterprise zone status.
Letting agents are Bulleys, and Cushman & Wakefield.
