The move comes swiftly after DPD agreed to take a 60,000 sq ft warehouse – now under construction – on an adjoining plot.
Industrial developer Chancerygate has submitted a planning application for the new speculative development, with financial backing from Royal London.
The site is at Satellite Park, Chadderton.
This second phase of the scheme includes a single unit of 64,360 sq ft that overlooks the M60 and then eight small-box further units ranging from 2,850 sq ft to 8,365 sq ft. There will also be a 1.3 acre plot fronting Greengate suitable for a variety of leisure and roadside uses.
Hourigan Connolly is the appointed planning consultants and Fletcher Rae is the architects. CBRE and B8RE are the retained letting agents.
