NHS Supply Chain walked home with the Editor’s Choice Award, presented by SHD Logistics.
Clipper Logistics with Sheffield Hallam University, Derby University and Superdry also claimed best Future Skills project – a category sponsored by MTA with MACH 2020. Christie Lites won the Innovation category (sponsored by Continental) for SEC Storage’s multi-point, multi-directional shuttle system installed at Coventry-based Christie Lites. The system provided a dramatic increase in volumetric capacity and five-fold rise in the amount of pickable locations, ensuring optimum operational efficiency.
Marks & Spencer won the Technology Transformation award, sponsored by Clipper Logistics, for its collaboration with Logistics Reply. Meanwhile, other winners include Kuehne + Nagel (New Facility – Warehouses Under 150,000sq ft), Pets at Home (Warehouse Efficiency) and GEFCO in the Wellbeing Initiative award category. The sixth annual The Logistics Awards was held on Thursday 26th September during IMHX 2019, the UK’s largest logistics industry event. The Logistics Awards is an annual celebration of excellence in the logistics and supply chain sectors. In association with SHD Logistics magazine, the awards recognise the most impressive achievements throughout the industry over the last 12 months.
