COVID-19 category added to The Logistics Awards

The Logistics Awards, the annual celebration of excellence in the logistics and supply chain sectors, has announced a new category in light of the industry’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The awards recognise the most innovative projects taking place throughout the industry over the last 12 months, and now will cater for efforts during the pandemic.

The recently announced category, titled Above & Beyond, will give companies the opportunity to share stories of how they have managed, adapted and served their respective communities.

Entrants will show:

  • How they have collaborated with industry partners to manage new challenges, such as surges and ongoing peaks.
  • Instances of creativity with new technology, processes or business strategies.
  • Their support for communities and the wider country in an effort to manage the impact of COVID-19.
  • What measures they introduced to protect the safety of key workers, such as warehouse staff.

The next edition of the Logistics Awards will take place on Wednesday 16 September 2020 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

The deadline for entries is Friday 29 May 2020. Download the Entry Guide now for essential guidelines, entry criteria and more.
