This role is an operational contract manager, responsible for providing high quality service to the client, seeking cost saving initiatives and improvements to service. This role will be working closely with the customer to ensure that the business can identify and provide the best strategic and operational solutions for them.
The contract manager will lead both the commercial and strategic development of their contracts, providing inspirational leadership and a desire to make a difference.
As contract manager, you will be responsible for up to 250 operational staff through a team of 8 managers, in a c300,000 sq ft warehousing operation.
We are looking for a commercially astute contract manager who has a desire to move their career forward in a quickly growing organisation. The successful contract manager will have experience
* Managing P&L (closed book experience is advantageous)
* Customer management and reporting (KPi, SLA's and budgetary performance)
* Continuous improvement
* Strategic development of warehousing solutions
* Leading large operational teams (up to 250 people)
Previous experience within contract or account management would be highly advantageous. This role would also suit an established operations manager with budgetary and customer experience.
Basic salary or £45,000 - £50,000 + Profit linked bonus + benefits
