Split Tray Sorter with Hybrid Chute
The solution that DistriSort offers to integrate both retail and e-commerce sorting on one sorter is relatively simple, but certainly ingenious. DistriSort uses a EuroSort Split Tray Sorter with a Hybrid chute underneath. The exit underneath the chute can either contain a tote for retail, or can be transformed to hold single items for e-commerce which can be packed for customers. Depending on throughput requirements and number of destinations the product can be sorted to either one side of the sorter or both providing in the requirement for large numbers of e-commerce orders with only one or a few items.
