JLR proposal put forward to planners

Jaguar Land Rover’s proposals for a 1.03m sq ft logistics centre in Solihull are to go before planners today.

Council officials are recommending support for the development at Damson Parkway, despite local objections. The facility is regarded as essential for JLR’s continued growth in the Midlands. The car maker already has consent for a new research and technical base at its Whitley HQ and a new 700,000 sq ft facility at Gaydon.
