H&M, the fashion chain, are being associated with a 750,000 sq ft warehouse deal at IDI Gazeley’s Magna Park, Milton Keynes.
The developer declined to comment. Earlier this month IDI Gazeley broke ground on a new 574,000 sq ft Magna Park warehouse – the largest of its kind since the recession. Construction on the 21-metre-high development, named ‘Altitude’, begins today and is expected to be completed by the end of February 2018.
Tenants at the site between junctions 13 and 14 of the M1 motorway include John Lewis, Waitrose and River Island.
Alex Verbeek, Senior Vice President & Managing Director UK, IDI Gazeley, said of the new warehouse now under construction: "We are excited to be getting started on this innovative project that reimagines the way that our clients look at logistics warehousing. The entirety of this development was considered with the end-user in mind with greater height, floor loading capacity and sustainability credentials than other projects of its kind. We look forward to watching the development of the warehouse throughout the rest of the year."
